为进一步提高青年教师英语科技论文写作能力，教师发展中心将于2015年1月21日（周三）上午10：00-11:30开展“国际知名期刊编辑校园行”专题讲座，人数在100人以内；下午15:00-16:00开展“国际知名期刊编辑校园行”研讨沙龙，人数在20人以内。届时将邀请Nature Communications 副主编 Dr. Changjun Zhang与大家就英语科技论文写作、投稿与审稿等方面展开交流。

我校自2010年开始将“国际知名期刊编辑校园行”专题（Author Workshop）作为“师资创新能力与职业发展培训”项目中的新增专题版块，该系列活动得到了我校青年教师的广泛关注。
Abstract
So, you've discovered something extraordinary and you want to consider publishing in a Nature journal. But which one should you choose? Indeed, why has Nature spawned so many new titles? What is Nature Communications, and what is it trying to do that other Nature journal don't do already? And what is Open Access? In this talk I'll try to answer these and any other questions you have about getting published in a Nature journal, mainly Nature Communications. I'll also cover: why are we here and what are we looking for in China?
Brief introduction of Dr. Changjun Zhang
Dr. Changjun (Alex) Zhang got his first degree in Central China Normal University, PhD in Queen's University Belfast, and post-doc in University of Cambridge. His own research focused on theoretical aspects of systems of relevance to surface science, solid-liquid interfaces, heterogeneous catalysis, energy production and storage, and solid state fuel cells. He joined Nature Publishing Group early last year and now an associate editor in Nature Communications.
